If c-global can save the World: Why is it being shunned? An Xmas Carol

Posted by in categories: existential risks, particle physics

Imagine there existed a proof that the most reluctantly accepted feature of Einstein’s gravitation theory – that c is no longer a global but only a local constant – was unnecessary: Would that not be wonderful?

The proof was greeted with planet-wide neglect: c-global exists in the Schwarzschild metric of general relativity since 2008 and so in the more fundamental equivalence principle since 2012. It hence also holds true for the full Einstein equation – only the pertinent transform has yet be written down to enable direct unification with quantum mechanics: a holy grail.

Hence most everyone is bound to be working on this in physics? The answer is no given the embarrassment of riches that is implicit. This professional modesty is a sympathetic human trait when you look at it in a detached mood. However, the result in question has also an applied side to it. In light of the latter, a prestigious collective activity has ceased to be safe.

Such collisions of interest do usually sort themselves out spontaneously with time. Here, bad luck for once wills that the unsafe collective activity – the re-ignition of a Nobel-decorated experiment at twice its former world-record energy – has been scheduled to start in only ten weeks’ time.

EXTREMELY-PREEMPTIVE LUCID FORESEEING!

0000

Let us stop the universal guesswork to make decisions by ignoramuses of supine ignorance, beginning with the elitist “…intellectuals…”, specially those postdoctorals from the Ivy-league and Oxbridge.

You do not make (throughput to output) decisions to be instituted in the past, but in the Continual Present, whose Continuum is hugely connected to the Future.

Through this article, in a subtle and even in a forceful and dramatic way, you will notice, if you pay careful attention, how the DOTS are connected in amazing ways. Here, to an ultimate degree, the ensuing Maxim is extremely observed: “… everything is related to everything else …”

Solid Concepts and SIE Integrate 3D Printed Air Duct for New Orbis Flying Eye Hospital

3D Printed Air Duct

It’s not every day that you have the FAA looking over your shoulder while you are designing a complex part for 3D printing. It’s also not every day that you have to design a part which, no matter how basic it might sound, must be failsafe, for not only flying, but also in working seamlessly with all the other rigorously tested parts of an aircraft that is going to fly all over the world on charitable medical missions.

3D-Printed ROBOPuppet Translates Physical Action of User Onto Full-Size Robot

Posted by in category: 3D printing

RoboPuppet

(3Ders.org) — Researchers at the Intelligent Motion Laboratory at Indiana University developed a method to create inexpensive, table-top-sized robot models called ROBOPuppets to provide teleoperate input control to full-sized robots. RoboPuppet is a 3D-printed miniature replica of the target robot, which uses encoders embedded in the joints to translate the user’s physical action with the puppet into the motion on the robot. The kinesthetic mode of operation is familiar to those who played with action figures and dolls as children. It lets users control complex motions in a cheap and more intuitive way than traditional joysticks or joint level control.

The Lost Honor of a she-Professor and a Constant: A two-tiered Rehabilitation

Posted by in category: philosophy

A whole nation found it fitting that a university professor with a lifetime call for endocrinology (hormonal diseases) was turned into a university professor of gastroenterology (diseases of the digestive tract) for which she had never specialized: by state decree. Her conscientious “no” stripped her of her honor, her title, her pension and her inherited house. The book she wrote while hoping for the courts to help, on the biological foundations of ageing with a prestigious publisher, did not prevent the raiding of her house in the presence of watchful police. State TV defamed her as “Germany’s laziest professor.”

The same resilience shown here by a human being I can attribute for once to a mere brainchild – Einstein’s most famous natural constant c. She, too, got degraded, stripped of her global validity to retain only her local validity. A bit like the non-removed M.D. of a degraded professor. Here, too, the whole profession decided to play it low and not come to the rescue of the honor of the unjustly defamed one.

There is a difference, of course. The honor of a person ranks much higher than the dignity of a constant. The scandal nonetheless is even bigger here: The physical survival of every person and the planet itself is tied to the rehabilitation of the poor constant.

The hatred displayed by a nation towards a person, paralleled by the hatred displayed by a globe-wide profession towards a constant? The poor Einsteinian constant c-global has been shown to make black holes unsafe. Therefore, the prestigious attempt to produce black holes down on earth, (#1) has become undetectable at first if successful and (#2) makes the planet with a probability in the percentage-range get shrunk to 2 cm after a few years’ delay.
